(More customer reviews)I ordered a set for a co-worker as a Christmas present. The set was poorly packed by Amazon and arrived damaged (not the first time a fragile item ordered from Amazon has arrived damaged due to poor packaging). I have requested a replacement but if the second set arrives damaged I will request a refund.
Before returning the set I did have an opportunity to check out some of the unbroken items. Its a beautiful design, quality made and I believe would make a nice gift.
There is a lot of praise I can give Amazon for their extensive list of products, ease of use in ordering items from their web site and reasonable prices. Unfortunately the whole experience can be ruined by poor packaging practices by their shipping staff.
UPDATE: The replacement set arrived damaged. The package was poorly packed, just like the first shipment and I refused delivery from the UPS carrier. I submitted a request for a full refund of $39.91. Amazon decided to refund me only $26.87. I have sent them an email asking them why I did not receive a full refund.
UPDATE: Amazon reviewed my request and agreed to refund me for the full price of $39.91.

Folding Cooling Rack Review

(More customer reviews)Rack is sturdy, but the two flaps don't level with the center well. Stores easily although it requires a large draw or deep cabinet. Would have been better if it was coated non-stick. I use mine as a spare as I have a better two tier rack that can be easily separated into two single racks and stores nicely in a smaller space.

Once I thought I had it in but as soon as I let go of it it fell right out. I also noticed that my condensation tray won't come out either. I also don't like how it has filters that need to be cleaned after every use. If I had not received this as a gift it would be going back to the store but since I don't have the receipt I'm stuck with it.

The problem with the containers themselves is that the lids to do not snap on and stay on tight. Even with the slightest movement, they dislodged and slide off. Would be a much better product if the lids went on and stayed on tightly.

GOLD CONE #4 COFFEE FILTER, BX Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for a Krups 12-cup model, thinking that a #4 filter would fit all models, but it's not the best fit. I really should have purchased the correct filter for my particular Krups model, however more expensive it was, than trying to save a few $$. It's usable, certainly, but I have to be sure that the filter is properly seated and the machine door is shut tight before starting the brewing cycle; I've had it pop open while filled with hot water during the brewing cycle; a not so great ocurrence. Anyway, I do like this filter, aside from the fit issues; and hope to never have to buy paper filters again. Saves 50% over what I pay for filters in a year, and a few trees in a life time of use to boot.
Ond tip, one comment: hand wash carefully, no dishwasher, these filters are delicate; there most likely will be some "sludge" in the bottom of your coffee carafe, but not any grounds; that's not a big deal for me. I'm used to grounds accumulating in my coffee when I'm out of paper filters and am forced to use paper towel.

The little leaf that goes on the tea diffuser is not painted as nicely as the mug and cover, and has white paint spatters on the edges. The cover fits nicely on the mug, and doesn't drip while you are waiting for your tea to steep. The handle is a little awkward to get my small hand around, a more open handle design would probably be a big improvement. If you have larger hands, I would avoid this style. Not the best covered mug around, but useful.
