They are very nice plates though I use them for all my meals & may be the repeated wash has faded the brightness of the design a little.

Bosch 800 Series : HBL8750UC 30in Combination Oven - Stainless Steel Review

(More customer reviews)I've just remodeled my kitchen and had this unit installed. I've been cooking with it for about a month. Overall, the quality of the oven/microwave is quite good:
* it preheats quickly
* the extra deep pull over rack is handy
* the convection microwave is quite useful for small cooking tasks
There are a few small things that seem a bit silly, but are driving me crazy:
1) The oven beeps are extremely loud, I had to turn them off as the entire house could hear me turning on the oven
2) Every *single* button press on the oven panel is delayed by 1/2 a second. You keep thinking the unit isn't turned on but it's just slow! You'd think a $3000 oven would be able to respond to button presses.
I even called the support department and asked about anything I could do to help the situation. A very nice woman that worked for Bosch explained that this is a common complaint, she unfortuantely had no suggestions. As the unit is already installed in my home and is basically working, it's a bit hard to return at this point so I'll just live with it but I wanted others to know about these unfortunate design flaws.

Throughout this time, Tupperware survived 3 kids and a lifetime of use and abuse (I am sure). She STILL uses them every day and I am amazed at how sturdy they are and how the lids still provide an air tight seal. This is WONDER PLASTIC. They just don't make them like this anymore. I don't know about you, but this is all the proof I needed to make the investment. I could not wait to purchase my own and I first purchased the 13 piece Servalier bowl set also offered through Amazon. I love this set so much that I purchased the 3 piece Wondelier bowl set as a complementary set and I could not be any happier. Since my Tupperware purchase, I have thrown out the old ones from the other so called "reputable" companies, which just don't last. I can finally stop wasting money buying from here and there. Although Tupperware makes microwaveable pieces, this set is not. This set is mostly for food storage in your refrigerator and or freezer. This does not bother me in the least for I prefer to heat my food in microwaveable plates, not plastic. I just feel safer this way. And yes, they are dishwasher safe.

I STILL love my Tupperware! Absolutely no issues almost 2 years later, not even food stains. I couldn't have said this about any other plastic storage brand. I'm sooo happy I made the investment. And my mother-in-law STILL uses her (almost) 40 year old Tupperware. I saw her use her favorite yellow Tupperware bowl this past Xmas (2010) to mix cookie dough. I swear, this stuff is amazing! Like roaches, Tupperware will clearly survive the next Apocalypse!

(More customer reviews)I have a type of dinnerware that's very similar to Fiesta, Metlox Colorstax, and it gets knifemarks the way people are describing getting on Fiestaware. To get them off, I make a paste of Bon Ami cleanser & water, rub the paste all over the scratched parts of dish, leave the paste on for several minutes to half an hour, scrub the dish, then rinse it off. The knife marks disappear to a great extent because they are *on* the glaze, not cut into it. I imagine this would work as well with Fiestaware as it does Colorstax.

Every year or two you'll need to defrost the freezer, which is a pain. But that's not too bad considering the life of the product. I did buy extra inserts for variety and size, and since we use this almost every day, I will probably buy more. The flexibility of the kit is great. Love that it is dishwasher-safe. I am probably going to get more for the rest of my family.
As a side note, the "instruction" book is basically a manifesto on healthy and organic eating. You can pretty much figure out how to use this lunch box without it.

I am editing this and revising my review from 5 stars to 3 after using the product nearly the whole school year. It's NOT as easy as I thought for my daughter to open & close the interior pieces, and if they don't close, the whole thing doesn't close. Her teacher just told me to please get something new as the contents were spilling all the time.
Ah well, I have one for myself, which I still love.

(More customer reviews)The first time I baked in this pan was a lemon yogurt bundt cake. everybody thought that I had covered it with chocolate because it was brownish on the outside when all it was was the crisp outside layer of the cake. It was soo delicious. The cake is easily realeased from the pan. The definition of the cake is amazing. They pan never failed me and I am sure it won't fail you. Just remeber to spray the pan before pouring the batter in.

(More customer reviews)I don't remember the packaging or what it looked like or what it said, but after using them for a few times and cooking your food right, it is clear that it is supposed to turn bright red. Anything less and you haven't cooked it enough. The steak one has three different readings, the first part turns red quickly and it is for rare, the middle part turns red a little more slowly and it is for medium and the tip takes the longest and is for well done. AWESOME!
These things are amazing. We bought them b/c they were cheap and at Target one day 3 or 4 years ago and we can't live without them. They have NEVER been wrong. I wish there was a pork one, but we just use the steak one to see if some of it turns red and we know it is cooked but won't be dry. after 3 or 4 years of use they are still going strong. Our chicken one is starting to bite the dust and I was depressed I couldn't find these ANYWHERE! I found them here and will be buying several packs to stock up for the future.
These are for those of us who don't know what temp. to look for on the thermometer or you don't wanna wait for it to register. You poke it in, make sure it isn't touching bone, I always waited a second and then BE READY, you look at it AS it comes out of the food and if it is bright red it's ready! They do change quickly back to the original color, so be ready and have ample lighting around where you are so you can be sure... these things have saved us from MANY MANY raw meals. My husband used to be the WORST at under cooking because he was scared to over cook things. Now that we have these every meal is spot on! I HIGHLY recommend these to ANYONE!

Let me say that I am SO GLAD that it wasn't our money that was wasted on this product. The egg holder does not securely hold the eggs, so they were slipping all around while we tried to crack them. Once we managed to get the eggs stabilized, we had trouble getting the blades to pierce the shells. On one egg, the bar at the top actually cracked the egg instead of the blades. It was difficult getting the shells out of the thing after they were cracked, also. We ended up with egg all over the stove and our hands, and bits of egg shell in the skillet. It is a lot cleaner, easier, and cheaper to simply crack the eggs on a bowl or the edge of skillet.

I do not use a traditional diaper bag because they are just too big. It has a flip top and so far it has not come open while sloshing around in the bottom of my bag. There are grips on the side if you decide to have your little one hold it him/herself and eat. I haven't used it in that manner so I cannot comment on how well it works. All in all, I think this is a worthy investment. I don't many gimmicky items gears towards moms and kids, but this one was a practical investment.

(More customer reviews)I registered for the Chirp china on my wedding registry. I did not register for this platter, but received it as an off-registry gift. I also received the larger 16" Chirp platter.
I enjoy owning this smaller Chirp platter. I am able to find uses for it, and it is a pretty part of my table when I'm using a bunch of the chirp dishes. It is made of the same strong material as the other items in the Chirp collection, so it is unlikely that it will chip, and I can put it in the dishwasher. I think you would be happy to own this platter as part of your china collection.
If you are trying to decide between the 16" Chirp platter or this medium 13" Chirp platter, I would suggesting going with the larger 16" platter. While it is more expensive, I think you will find it is worth the extra money. The 3" diameter makes a difference when it comes to serving a larger amount of food. As for as the design, the 13" platter is on an all white background, and when I compare it to the 16" platter that has an aqua edge, I find the 13" platter to look a little plain.
