(More customer reviews)Don't pay attention to the reviewers who think that you brew tea in a tea strainer. You don't cook spaghetti in a spaghetti strainer. This is a tea strainer, made for pour loose leaf brews through AFTER you have brewed your tea, so that you don't wind up with leaves in your cup. This works great for Turkish Coffee as well.
So, basically you DO NOT place loose leaves in the wire mesh and pour hot water through it. Place the loose leaves in the hot water and brew them in the tea pot. Pour the tea that you have brewed to your taste through the strainer and into the cup and catch the loose leaves.

Serrated edges on both sides of the spoon make it so easy to remove each section of grapfruit. When I wanted a second set last year, I couldn't find them in stores. Bought several other brands, but none could compare. The ones with only one serrated edge are completely worthless. Finally found these Norpro spoons on Amazon and they just as wonderful as the first set. Using these spoons to eat our grapefruit, breakfast is no longer a frustrating experience!

Well, let me assure you that for once, amazon has done an excellent job packing this for shipping! It comes in its own cardboard box, and there is a thick layer of bubble wrap around the outside of the box. Also, the mug is actually bigger than you'd think. (It holds about twice the amount of coffee that a normal coffee mug holds.) The paint is also very well applied. All in all, it's a beautiful mug for a great price.

They've easily cut every type dough I've used them on and they come packaged in a clear round container than keeps them all together instead of being scattered in different drawers and cabinets. (More customer reviews)I've been using the Micro-Mac microwave cookware for close to 15 years and I've been very pleased with the durability and ease of use of this product. In particular I like this set as it contains the basics needed for microwave "baking". While the microwave oven does not truly "bake" it does a fairly decent job of cooking quick breads. The Micro-Mac muffin pan is really good at this task as the cups allow for moisture to escape which helps prevent soggy muffins. I like the cake pan as I use it to cook veggies or to bake a quick cake layer. The tube pan can be used to "bake" a coffeecake or as a gelatin mold.
This is a sturdy, easy to clean set.
Highly recommend.

The glass base is heavier than expecte, but mircowaves very well. I love the lid lock and it is one of the best locking mechanish out there. it is flexible enough for easy snap one and snap off, but the hinge is made of durable material so that it does not break off easily. I have been using this to heat up left overs for lunches for 6 months now: the lid keeps the food in the container and does not appear to be easily knocked off whislt in my backpack and the glass does retain the heat for additional conduction during the first 10 minutes out of the microwave. Please take the lid off before microwaving. I also love it that I can reheat food without use of any plastic and hence I dont end up throwing away food since there has been no healthy way to do, until now.

I have not used the lid, however I appreciate the inclusion as it would be useful for some people I'm sure. Now that I've had the set about six month, I am noticing that the red lettering (which is a little hard to see anyway) is wearing off. Up until now, my biggest complaint would be the red lettering. But I can see that the set will eventually be useless as far as accurate measuring is concerned. I'm very disappointed as I looked around a long time before choosing this set, which was not inexpensive. Also be aware that it cannot be washed in the dishwasher, nor can it go into a microwave. Needing to handwash was okay with me, but the microwave restriction was limiting.

Additionally, the description leads one to believe these are bamboo-product bowls that are environmentally friendly but once I received them, I discovered they are nearly half melamine. With as many warnings out there about melamine as there are, I don't feel comfortable using melamine products for food. An additional note with the bowls is that they are not microwave safe. These bowls were not the ideal baking bowls I was expecting. Cute though!
