I have had to use other plates at various times under circumstances beyond my control, and it is always a near-pleasure to return to the sterling quality of Chinet. When it comes to balancing a plate full of food while juggling a drink, the sturdy construction but light weight of Chinet makes the buffet line a breeze. And kudos to the host who chooses them. I see they are now marked "biodegradable" but before that ever happens, try cleaning and reusing- but don't try it if it's not the original, the best, Chinet.
